1. Plaque Sales Margin
Plaque sales are the foundation. Every memorial pairs a digital page with a physical QR-coded plaque retailing at $129. As a partner, you buy plaques at a wholesale rate determined by your tier — Starter takes 10% off ($116.10), Professional takes 20% ($103.20), and Enterprise takes 35% ($83.85). You then set the family-facing price. Most partners price between $179 and $249 depending on local market and whether the plaque is bundled into an existing service package.
The math is straightforward. A Professional-tier partner pricing plaques at $199 keeps $95.80 of margin per sale. At ten plaques a month — well within reach for a typical mid-size funeral home — that's $958 in monthly plaque margin alone, before any of the other four streams kick in.
What you're really selling is the service. Collecting family photos and stories, writing the obituary draft, setting up the QR plaque at the gravesite, training the family on how to add memories over time, being there as the digital tribute fills in. The plaque itself is just a $129 product — what families pay above that wholesale floor buys your expertise, your time, and your role in the most difficult moment of their lives. Set the family-facing price wherever your service value justifies. Most partners price between $179 and $249 — and the ones who price highest are the ones most clearly framing this as a memorial service offering, not a plaque sale.

2. Sympathy Flower Commissions
Every memorial page has a “Send Real Flowers” button. On Starter, Professional, and Enterprise tiers, that button routes through your own Florist One affiliate ID — a pattern we call BYOK (bring-your-own-key). When a family member or visitor orders sympathy flowers, the order goes through Florist One's network of 14,000+ local florists, and the affiliate commission flows directly from Florist One to you, not through LegacyMarker. We never sit in the middle of that payment.
Florist One's commission averages around $20 per order. A busy funeral home seeing eight to fifteen flower orders a month across its memorial pages adds another $160–$300 of monthly revenue without lifting a finger — every memorial becomes a passive flower-order channel for as long as the page is live.
Setup is a one-time, two-minute job: sign up for a free Florist One affiliate account, copy your affiliate ID into your partner dashboard's settings page, and that's it. Every future memorial — and every existing memorial — automatically routes flower orders through your account. If you'd rather not participate, leave the field blank and orders route through LegacyMarker's account; this is the only stream that's opt-in.

3. Plaque Referral Bonus
When you refer another funeral home to LegacyMarker, you earn $25 — flat, in cash — for every plaque they ever sell. Not a percentage, not a discount: twenty-five real dollars on every order, paid into your account in the same monthly Stripe payout as your own plaque margin.
This stream is universal. Every tier, including Free, participates. There's no expiration, no decay schedule, and no cap. Refer one busy funeral home that ends up selling 15 plaques a month, and that single referral generates $375 of passive monthly income for as long as they remain a LegacyMarker partner.
Two or three solid referrals is the easiest passive income in the program. The relationships are usually already there — peers you know through industry associations, regional gatherings, or prior referrals back to you.

4. Recurring Referral Share
On top of the per-plaque bonus, you also earn a recurring share of every referred partner's monthly subscription. The share rate is set by YOUR tier — Starter pays 5%, Professional pays 7%, Enterprise pays 10% — and it applies to whatever subscription the referred partner is currently paying.
The math compounds quickly with multiple referrals. A Professional-tier partner with three Professional-tier referrals earns 3 × $199 × 7% = $41.79 every month. Add Enterprise-tier referrals into the mix and the dollar amount climbs further: one Enterprise referral at the Pro rate is $24.43/mo by itself ($349 × 7%).
This share continues as long as the referred partner stays subscribed. If they cancel, the recurring share pauses; if they come back later, it resumes. You don't need to renew it, renegotiate it, or do anything to keep it active. The share is always tied to your tier — if you upgrade from Starter to Professional, every existing referral immediately starts paying you the higher rate.
Importantly, downgrade-protection runs the other direction too: if a referred partner downgrades from Professional to Starter, your share rate stays based on your tier — you simply earn 7% of a smaller subscription number. The percentage is yours.

5. One-Time Signup Bonus
When a referred partner completes their first paid month, you earn a one-time $100 bonus on top of the recurring streams. Think of it as the activation reward — it tells you the referral landed and the recurring share is now live.
Combined with the $25 plaque bonus and the recurring share, the one-time $100 is the quick reward for activating your network. Three solid referrals in a quarter delivers $300 in signup bonuses alone, before plaques or recurring shares accumulate.
